Leadership

We (or a loved one, typically a spouse) have Parkinson's. We want to learn more about it by comparing notes with someone else who also has it, and possibly willing to compare notes with others going through the same journey. So ..... since there has not been a support group operating in the Lake Martin area, we marched forward and founded one ourselves.

In the process of forming a group, we felt that it made sense to establish an Executive Committee of one-year officer functions. Virtually everyone is retired from their professional careers. Yet, some of us have in-depth expertise which is applicable to operating our support group. It seems to work-out well. For example, one of our founders was formerly a banker. He should automatically make an excellent Treasurer! ..... and so on.​
